About the Touring Group..
You are invited to join Tim King, local journalist and author, for a totally unique perspective of Oregon state capitol history via “Salem Ghost Tours.” During the guided two-hour walk, stories of reported 'hauntings' will almost 'come to life' (and possibly make the hair stand up on the back of your neck). The tour covers some of 'old' Salem's astounding paranormal
history. Even some ‘locals’ may not be aware ‘old’ Salem had an "Underground", now long-forgotten, which was the site of opium dens, prostitution and smuggling throughout its darkened passageways. There is no better way to experience the history and eerie-side of an old city like Salem (founded in 1842) than by walking right up to the places where history left its mark.
