Find your own adventure in Lake County, Florida. As you might guess from the name, Lake County has lost of lakes, over 500 to be exact. This makes it one of the top places for inland water sports. Take a ride on a seaplane in Tavares, Florida. Go fishing on Lake Harris in Leesburg. Watch the Annual Dragon Boat races in Lake Dora or visit the antique boat regatta which is hosted nearby our Hampton Inn hotel.
 
Our hotel is located conveniently on highway 441 about an hour north of Orlando and the Disney attractions. We offer easy access to the cities of Leesburg, Tavares, The Villages, Mount Dora, Eustis, Umatilla, Howey-in-the-Hills, Okahumpka, and Fruitland Park.
 
Although water related sports bring many visitors to our area, other attractions are also popular and include the famous movie train, the Orange Blossom Cannonball, which was featured in numerous films, Emeralda Marsh, a popular destination for birding and other wildlife viewing, and Renningers Flea & Farmers Market, one of the largest in the nation.
