The 120,000 acre Gold Creek Ranch is renown for wildlife conservation and raising the finest organic buffalo, beef and lamb. Huter could always be found at the top of the pack growing up on the Arizona youth rodeo circuit.

US Army Ranger
Hunter left the ranch at 18 years of age to join the US Army (like his father and grandfather before him). Hunter's determination and grit led to earning his tab as a US Army Ranger. He specialized in Air Assault, Airborne Operations and Small Unit Combat techniques. His markmanship from years of hunting on The Gold Creek Ranch led to earning his sniper qualification. Decorated in an number of covert operations Hunter was honorably discharged due to sustaining an injury during a remote operation where he earned both the Silver Star, Purple Heart with his unit receiving a Presidential Citation Award.
