This 1954 Chevrolet truck started life as a flatbed truck that lived its entire life on a farm in Pennsylvania. The owner shipped the vehicle down to our shop and after looking at the vehicle it was determined that the only the cab, doors front fenders and hood were usable. Under the vehicle rest a custom made chassis with mustang II independent suspension and a ford 9 inch rear end. Four corner disc brakes and coil over shocks with 4 link suspension in the rear round out the frame. Although it may not look it there is a lot of custom work done on this vehicle. Frenched in headlights and stainless steel hood trim. We shaved off all the badging on the nose of the vehicle. The running boards were fabricated and smoothed with step plates to give it that clean look. The rear end is customized with a roll pan and frenched 1950 Pontiac tai lights.
The tailgate was given a hidden latch system and the bed of the truck has all new oak boards with stainless strips and hidden bolts. The interior of the truck was done by our upholsterer and gives a clean elegant look to the truck. Don’t be fooled all the gauges are electronic and the stereo system in the truck sounds amazing rolling down the road. Power windows, vintage air ac, and a tilt column were installed to give it some creature comforts . The drive train is a Chevy small block making roughly 450 horse and a 700r4 helps the vehicle glide down the road. This truck is as close to the comfort of a new vehicle but with that vintage 50s look. The paint speaks for itself cobalt candy blue and silver two tone it almost looks like you could swim in it and the pictures don’t do it and justice.
